AJ’s Yacht of Fun was created by Greg Schwartz, a lifelong hospitality entrepreneur who has spent decades creating memorable experiences on the water.
Greg has owned and operated Clear Lake Resort in northern Michigan for more than 25 years, welcoming guests from around the country to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Clear Lake. Over the years, he built a reputation for creating relaxed, welcoming environments where people can unplug, spend time together, and enjoy the water.
After years of sharing lake life in Michigan, Greg brought that same passion to Florida’s Gulf Coast. AJ’s Yacht of Fun was launched in Clearwater to offer a new way for locals and visitors to experience the water, with sunset cruises, private events, and unforgettable evenings on the bay.
For Greg, it has always been about the same simple idea: great views, good company, and time well spent on the water.
Cove Cay Marina
Located on Tampa Bay in Clearwater, Cove Cay Marina is a full-service waterfront destination for boaters and visitors alike. The marina offers boat slips and storage, jet ski and pontoon rentals, kayak and paddleboard rentals, a bait shop, and on-site parts and service. Guests can also relax at AJ’s Dockside Bar & Grill, making Cove Cay a convenient place to launch, explore the bay, or spend the day on the water.
AJ’s Dockside Bar & Grill
Located at Cove Cay Marina in Clearwater, AJ’s Dockside Bar & Grill is a relaxed waterfront spot where guests can enjoy fresh seafood, cold drinks, and live music with views of Tampa Bay. With outdoor seating overlooking the marina and a casual, laid-back atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to grab lunch, meet friends for happy hour, or unwind after a day on the water.

Is the yacht moving during our booking?
No. All standard meal and overnight experiences are docked at Cove Cay Marina. That means calm water, no seasickness, and a relaxed setting. Cruising is only available if you book a captain add-on.
Is this a party boat or booze cruise?
No. AJ’s Yacht of Fun is designed for couples and small groups looking for a quiet, private experience. It’s ideal for date nights, birthdays, anniversaries, and low-key celebrations.
How many people can we bring?
Experiences are designed for couples and small groups. Additional guests can be added for a per-person fee, and capacity limits are strictly enforced for safety and comfort.
What’s included with the seafood dinner or lunch packages?
Your booking includes private use of the docked yacht, food from AJ’s Dockside, setup and cleanup, plates and utensils, restroom access, Wi-Fi, and indoor and outdoor seating.
Can we bring alcohol?
Alcohol is not automatically included, but wine and alcohol upgrades are available. You can ask about options when booking.
